Artificial turfs for playing fields:

RiccoMono 4G Football

RiccoMono IV Football surface is a 4th generation synthetic turf, or so-called ‘backfill-free turf’. Backfill-free turf is made of straight and twisted (crimped) monofilament fibres. The twisted fibres imitate sand and support the straight fibres. Thanks to the use of high-quality fibre, the turf meets the highest requirements and can be used on large-area playing fields.

RICCOMIX

RiccoMix turf is made from a combination of monofilament polyethylene and fibrillated polypropylene fibres. Thanks to the use of fibres with 2 different structures, the turf is characterised by high cushioning and strength. Ideal for use on football and rugby playing fields.

RICCOPROFI

RiccoMix turf is made from a combination of monofilament polyethylene and fibrillated polypropylene fibres. Thanks to the use of fibres with 2 different structures, the turf is characterised by high cushioning and strength. Ideal for use on football and rugby playing fields.

RICCORL

RiccoRl meets the requirements of the amateur footbal pitches “Orlik 2012” programme and is made from high-quality fibre. It is certified by the world’s best laboratories ISA-SPORT and LABOSPORT…

RICCOSYSTEM

This is a system consisting of a football turf with a fibre length of 40mm to 60mm with a shock-absorbing underlay. The height of the underlay used depends on the type of turf used. RICCOSYSTEM is a highly shock-absorbing product, ideal for use on future playing fields as well as full-size football pitches.

RiccoHybrid

The RiccoHybrid surface has been developed to combine the benefits of artificial turf and natural grass. The synthetic turf fibres used provide durability and strength. The special underlay, with prepared gaps between the fibres, allows the natural grass to develop in parallel.

FOOTBALL TURF

Football turfs are turfs made of monofilament or monofilament-fibre, 40mm-65mm high, backfilled with quartz sand and rubber granules. The even distribution of the infill layers ensures that the density and thickness of the turf is the same throughout the playing field, thus maintaining the same playing comfort. Each of the artificial turf components has an important function in the overall surface. The synthetic turf fibres imitate natural grass. They hold the sand and granules that fill the surface in place. The quartz sand acts as a ballast and is the weight of the entire surface. The granules provide the necessary softness and resilience to the surface and cushion and protect the users’ bodies during contact with the surface. The turfs have reports from independent accredited laboratories (ISA-Sport, Labosport) confirming the compliance of the surface with FIFA requirements.

The fibre used in the production of football turfs can vary in weight from 8800-16000dtex, vary in cross-section from flat to reinforced core, and vary in thickness from 120-360 microns. These parameters significantly affect the life of the product. The thicker the fibre, the greater will be its strength and the better will be the verticalisation of the turf. The most optimal monofilament thickness recommended by the Building Research Institute is 300 microns. This is a fibre that is sufficiently thick, yet flexible and not prone to kinking, which can occur in fibres over 330 microns thick.. Turfs meet the requirements set out in the Polish and European standard PN-EN 15330
